Cooking with Whiskey
Hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend and got a chance to barbecue. It looks like the nice weather is going to stick with us for the time being, which gives you the opportunity to try this Jack Daniel’s BBQ Glaze.
1 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup jack daniel whiskey
2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
2 beef bouillon cubes
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon Tabasco sauce (or to taste)
1. In a small sauce pan combine all above ingredients.
2. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15minutes.
3. Allow to cool completely.
4. Use as a glaze on any grilled meat.
